PICTURE PERFECT

“Asheville is a jewel of a place that just invites people in. I came for a vacation and I didn’t want to leave – it’s something you hear visitors say all the time, and absolutely true. As an artist, I wanted people to see my work. I needed them to see it, and I needed to be in a place where it would be accessible. So I took studio space in Asheville’s River Arts District along the banks of the French Broad River. It’s a regular haunt for locals and a must-see destination for visitors from all over the world. There are more than 185 working artists and craftsmen in 25 old industrial buildings. I felt right at home”
