    Director of Beverage

    Eric is a certified wine specialist currently studying toward his Advanced Sommelier certification. Whether you’re a foodie, budding oenophile or full-blown wine connoisseur sharing his passion for the fruit of the vine, you’re sure to see Eric around our communities. Eric and his stellar team of twelve sommeliers are on hand to select the perfect pairing for your dinner, whether you’re enjoying a meal at our clubs or preparing a dinner party in your home.

    Victor Carducci

    Senior Executive Chef

    Chef Victor Carducci learned to make fresh pasta at age six and hasn’t left the kitchen since. He has been a member of The Cliffs team for nearly two decades, gracing our tables with cuisine of all kinds from his family’s Italian recipes to Southern favorites or his favorite, Vietnamese. You can join him during monthly classes In the Kitchen with Chef Victor where you’ll learn the art of sous vide, how to make hand-formed gnocchi and more.

    Director of Golf Instruction

    A passionate teacher and innovator, Sean has developed a proprietary skill-based golf learning process exclusive for members of The Cliffs, which has been hailed by Golf Channel’s Cameron McCormick as “ahead of the curve.” He is certified in FlightScope, The Golfing Machine and Gray Institute Biomechanics and was nominated for PGA Carolinas Teach of the Year 2015-2017.

    Ryan Kamszik

    Senior Wellness Manager

    Ryan’s five years of service in the United States Marine Corps founded his passion for health, nutrition and functional fitness. Whether you’re looking to lower your handicap, ride longer or hike farther, he works hard to ensure our team of wellness experts is equipping you to meet your health and wellness goals. He is certified by both the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the esteemed Gray Institute of Functional Science.

    George Hincapie

    Director of Cycling

    George Hincapie holds the record for riding, and being on the winning team, more than any other rider in Tour de France history – seventeen. Hincapie has partnered with The Cliffs to develop special programs for members, leading private rides throughout the year and participating in special events at The Cliffs.

    Director of Tennis

    Peter Burwash International tennis professional Tess Lang boasts an overflowing trophy case and résumé that includes stints at such internationally-renowned tennis destinations as the Tokyo Lawn Tennis Club and Four Seasons Lanai. Tess’s talent and passion for the sport established a thriving tennis program at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in 2014. Now in her role as Director of Tennis for The Cliffs, Tess channels that raw talent, deep passion and years of experience into growing tennis programming and enjoyment for all members.

    Anna Claire Richardson

    Outdoor Adventure Specialist

    Anna Claire is our members’ guide to the great outdoors that surround The Cliffs. While you’ll most often find her leading a group hike — The Cliffs Exploration Series logged 56 hikes totalling 235 miles in 2017 — you’ll just as soon find her on shimmering Lake Keowee with a paddleboard under foot or leading a kayak tour or perhaps whisking winter thrill-seekers away for a day on the slopes.
