CARPE DIEM

Gone Fishing

Like every program at The Cliffs, we seek to make the experience, the instruction and calendar of members events second to none. Fishing is just the latest, where our exceptional program is headed by Nick Rubio. Few know the region’s waters better — what’s hatching, what flies are working, where today’s best action might be. And at The Cliffs, this can be many, many places. In Asheville, it may be the wide and meandering French Broad River. At Mountain Park the North Saluda River. By the lake, it may be the streams that spill into Falls Creek. Whether by the river, stream or lake — every cast seems to amplify the lure of The Cliffs.

CASTING CALL Hook, Line & Sinker

The fishing in Lake Keowee and the rivers and streams that surround The Cliffs are some of the best (and most scenic) in the Southeast. Anglers enjoy world-class opportunities, and numerous state records have come from these waters. Just try it once and you’ll be wondering if it’s the fish that’s gotten hooked… or you.
