Just minutes from The Cliffs’ gates are Table Rock, Devil’s Fork, Keowee Toxaway, and Paris Mountain State Parks. DuPont State Recreational Forest and the Pisgah National Forest are also just a stone’s throw away, offering tens of thousands of acres awaiting exploration. The Blue Ridge Parkway, part of the U.S. National Park Service, is just down the road from The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.
Every month The Cliffs Exploration Series offers members a variety of hikes, both within our borders and outside the gates. Every compass point offers some of America’s most spectacular state and national parks, forests, and protected wilderness areas, including 75 waterfall hikes that await within 30 miles of The Cliffs’ seven communities.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE SPECIALIST
Watching the changing leaves burst into an abundance of color in fall, then bloom with new life again in spring before summer’s sea of green, is something Anna Claire feels everyone should experience up close.
“My passion is introducing our members to the splendors of the natural world and giving them the chance to explore some of what surrounds them.”
“Moving here has had a really profound effect on my life. We have four seasons, and you can be outside in all of them. I can’t imagine a better place to enjoy them.”

Member, The Cliffs at Mountain Park
Our Carolina mountains are immersed in natural splendor and members of The Cliffs eagerly explore the thousands of protected acres both inside and outside of our communities. And as much as we enjoy disconnecting with the modern world and becoming one with nature, there are just some moments you have to share on Instagram.
